Some centuries ago the abbots of Echternach rebuilt the former castle to a Manor-house for their summer-residence and laid the foundation of the present leisure-centre including the hotel, the bungalows, a park with deck-chairs, two ponds... . The hotel is situated in the middle of the German-Luxembourgian nature park near the frontier river "Sauer". Here you have the opportunity to relax, to live culture, to visit towns like Trier or Luxembourg and so on.
